Yup, that's a Aurora Borealis. Beautiful isn;t it? It can be seen in the North Pole-ish regions (Alaska/Norway) and is sometimes called the Northern Lights. I have decided. That's what I wanna see after my graduation from SP. Or maybe even during my honey moon. And I will get to see that along with Polaris and the big dipper and such.
Apparently the best times to catch these lights are during winter in the northernmost regions - In the U.S., that would be Alaska, from Sept/Oct to Feb/March.
