From one of the ST columns today.

"You are actually quite narrow minded you know. You think your views are very liberal and cutting edge but you're not really open minded at all because you are not willing to change your ideas on anything."

I guess that basically sums up most of us, Singaporeans. We prolly led the good life for too long, became spoilt and expect everyone to follow the rules. Break one and you are deemed terrible, terrible, terrible. We judge the neighbouring countries but if they were to say anything against us... HOHO! We complain a lot about others yet we never fail to commit the same mistakes as them.

Take a certain female friend who rolled her eyeballs at me when she heard how excited I was about going to China.

" EE, they spit one leh! And they also cheat money one!!!"

Okayyy, but still sg is fast becoming a mini China (what with the influx of the PRCs) I mean, they have like what 1.3 billion people? It is impossible to run away from them you know.

And yes, they are nice people. Prolly a lot nicer then the supervisors in many of the ITP companies that the classmates worked for.

To tell the truth, I admire kids in nations such as Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Since young they have been taught the basic survival skills and the what nots.I remember a teacher saying that kids who are barely seven make their way across the causeway themselves to school in Sg. The courage is <3.

I guess if a war (choy choy) should ever befall SEA, Sg's best chance would only be the SAF cause its civilians *cough*us*cough* would have already fell to pieces.

I guess sometimes we shouldn;t be so quick to judge something cuz today...

-A small boy stopped me cause I dropped my money on the way to the toilet.
-The cleaner tried directing me while I was lost amongst the maze of staircases along Berjaya TImes Square
-The salesperson at Echo Park of Berjaya Times Square is LOVE! Haahah! Stan thinks so too!

Happy happy~ =D
